Cyrielle Finck, DVM
Dr
Cyrielle Finck grew up in Privas, a small town in the south east of France. She
graduated from the National Veterinary School of Lyon in France in 2011. She
then completed a 1-year small animal rotating internship at the Faculty of
Veterinary Medicine at the University of Montreal. Following her year in
Quebec, she went back to France to perform a specialized internship in Diagnostic
Imaging at the Veterinary School of Alfort, France, where she worked with
companion and exotic animals. She is currently enrolled in a residency in the
Diagnostic Imaging department and in a Doctor of Veterinary Sciences program at
the Ontario Veterinary College.

Research
Dr
Finck worked on ultrasonographic laryngeal examination in the dog for her Doctoral
thesis and proposed a new approach in this examination. She also conducted a
retrospective study to assess the role of relative small intestinal diameters
in the radiographic diagnosis of mechanical obstruction in dogs during her
internship at the University of Montreal. She is currently working on the
assessment of the structural and functional integrity of microwave ablation
antennas with repeated use and re-sterilisation.
